Once again, through the power and hands of Logo TV, we got the chance to take a closer peek into the life and world of Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir. However this time, we really got to take a look at how Johnny does off the ice and what he wanted for himself in the future.
“My fear is that I won’t be good at anything other than skating.”
Those were the words that Johnny spoke in Episode 1 of Be Good Johnny Weir, Season 2. Carrying to that notion, he embarked on quite a media fury! His dreams of being successful soared high while driving his manager Tara Modlin crazy every step of the way. From recording a song (Dirty Love) with producer Lucian Piane to writing for his memoir Welcome to My World and going on a bus tour selling it, Weir has done it all. He even played fashionista alongside Adrienne Landau to design fur coats! On top of all of it, he tried to plan an ice show called Spectacular that would showcase him, his artistic style while empowering it with stars like Lady Gaga. Although it didn’t happen for him in the end, he still managed to team up with hot gay rapper Cazwell to record another song titled Kiss Me In Public, which he performed live in Monday night’s season finale. However, one question now remains.
Is this the last we will see of Johnny Weir?
In the second part of the season’s end episode, he calls up Tara to announce he has decided to return to competitive skating next year, which would be this year in 2012. Along with that, Johnny confirmed in in January so we can look forward to seeing him back on the ice again for more scandalous performances and hot routines! However, the future of his show is in the hands of his fans. Do you want to see him back on the air for another season?
Johnny posted this tweeted that sums it up:
Whether he’s looking for love or making an attempt to coach young kids to be the future of his art, Johnny has captured the hearts of many regardless. His talent shines in all the work he does on the ice and in his personal life. The fact that he dug deeper this season is commendable! Now, I personally would like to see him back for another season. Of course, after the Olympics this year so that we can see what he does from it. What about you? As Weir says, y’all need to get on Twitter and tweet @LogoTV to let them know! Hell, visit the Facebook page for Logo and tell them. It’s up to YOU as the viewers and fans to beef up the producers to do another installment.
So hurry up and get Weir … back here!

Johnny had his first international competition this month, so he’s back and trying to make the 2014 Olympic team. Between that and his recent marriage, it’d be a great season. Or two even! Let’s make it happen!
