I think I just pissed myself!! No seriously, I thinking I’m DYING a little inside. No T, No Shade ….
There you have it!! You heard it here first!! According to the glamorous, elegant, fierce and fishy Carmen Carrera, she will be making a return trip back to Dallas, Texas on August 23rd for an event appearance at Club Edge. Having just been here on the 9th sharing the stage with her sister Raja Gemini at It’ll Do, she comes back to set the city on fire!! The RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 & RuPaul’s Drag U Season 2 star has been the center of attention lately in some news. Recently, Carrera underwent Breast Augmentation surgery in an effort to pursue her vision of being transgendered. However, the status has gotten some bad press. In an episode of TLC’s reality show Cake Boss, she took part in a prank that was set up for one of the cast maters but it went bad when she was referred to as a “man“, in a discriminatory way. Carmen then became the center of controversy but was cleared when a full apology was issued for the mistake in editing. Thank God!!
In a recent interview with RedEye.com, she talked about coming out as transgendered. “It was difficult at first, because, you know I wasn’t sure what my family was going to think,” said Carrera. Despite it all, she has fought on and fans have been there to support her all the way. Being a fan myself, I support her all the way and always will. Seeing her perform a few days ago with Raja was super sweet. I wish I could have gotten to meet her and take a picture. Maybe this time, I will!!
